UPDATED: Alleghany, Rockbridge County wildfires grow due to winds

The US Forest Service just sent out updates on the wildfires burning in Alleghany County and Botetourt County. The separate fires have merged, and formed one 6892 acre wildfire, about ten miles west of Covington, in the Dunlap Creek drainage area.
