Botetourt Co. adopts budget -

The tax rate is the same, but taxes likely will rise because property values have gone up. The Botetourt County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously Tuesday to pass a fiscal 2011 general fund budget of nearly $51 million. That's about $1.9 million smaller than this year's -- although most county landowners will still wind up paying higher taxes. . . .
