New tenant at Daleville Town Center

Williams Supply, Inc., a lighting supply store, will occupy 1,559 square feet of the new retail area of Daleville Town Center, according to information handed out by Fralin & Waldron, Inc. during a recent showing of its first residential home on River Birch Drive.

Williams Supply will have a lighting showroom with a broad assortment of residential lighting. The company is a local employee-owned and operated concern with seven locations in the state.

Fralin & Waldron, the developer of Daleville Town Center and a large real estate company, will also occupy a large portion of the retail outlet. The retail center is located off US 220 across from Orchard Marketplace, a new strip mall development that will feature a Food Lion. Food Lion is expected to open soon.

Daleville Town Center last week unveiled its first home, which earned an EarthCraft Homes gold certification. The 300 dwellings to be built at Daleville Town Center will be energy efficient with architecture designed to complement the landscape of Botetourt County. Homes will have all modern amenities.

The new development, which likely will take 10 years to finish, is a town in the making. It will offer walking paths and sidewalks. The developers goal is to create a green community similiar to Celebration in Florida.
