In memory: Virginia Tech Massacre

The Botetourt County Blog would like to remember the 32 people killed on April 16, 2007 by an as-yet unnamed gunman. The gunman killed himself after his rampage for a total of 33 dead and approximately 15 wounded. Seventeen Botetourt County deputies responded to the incident to provide assistance. Numerous Botetourt County students attend or have attended Virginia Tech and many of our county citizens are employed there.
